Expanding Foam is suitable for internal and external applications (when painted) when a fire rated seal is required. Designed to fill cavities, large gaps and holes sealing against moisture, noise and draughts. Formula is fire resistant polyurethane for up to 3 hours (appraised to AS1530.4) offering an efficient seal against smoke with high thermal and acoustic properties. Can be cut, sanded, plastered and painted. 12-16 minute skin time and fully cured in 18-24 hours. Compatible with; mortar, concrete, timber, MDF, steel, galvanised steel, stainless steel, aluminium, plasterboard, fibre cement sheeting.
